Lock Screen Settings​

Customize the block screen displayed to users when access to the website is blocked by conditional policies.

Access the SHIELDGate admin page at the following path:

  1. Admin Page Login
  2. In the left menuBusiness System > Security Screen SettingsClick
  3. top tabLock Screen SettingsSelection

Difference between the lock screen and the guide screen​

Lock Screen (This Menu)​

  • Purpose: Notification of access blocking due to security policy
  • Recommended Contact Information: Security/Policy Manager
  • Scope of Application: Blocking by Conditional Policy
  • Customizing: Full screen (image, message, contact, etc.) can be freely configured.

Guide Screen​

  • Purpose: Technical issue guidance such as system errors, session termination, etc.
  • Recommended Contact Information: IT/Computer Team
  • Scope of Application: Connection error, session termination, automatic logout, etc.
  • Customizing: Only image + additional text can be set (system default text is fixed)

How to Set Up​

1. Change Image​

  1. Click the image change button
    • in the image area이미지 변경Click the icon.
    • Upload image files such as company logos.
    • Support Format: PNG, JPG, JPEG, SVG
    • Recommended Size: 120px X 120px
  2. Image Initialization
    • To revert the uploaded image to the default SHIELD Gate logo, in the image area,기본 이미지로 변경Click the button.

2. Editing Block Messages​

  1. Editor Area
    • You can freely edit all the content that will be displayed on the blocking screen through the block message editor at the bottom of the image.
  2. Content that can be created
    • Block Notification Title
    • Explanation of Blocking Reasons
    • Blocked URL Display (Using Keywords)
    • Contact Information for Security Officer
    • Other Information
  3. Apply Formatting
    • You can apply text formatting using the editor tools.
      • Bold, Italics, Underline
      • Font Size and Color
      • Alignment (left, center, right)
      • List (Number, Bullet)

3. Displaying Blocked URLs​

To dynamically display the blocked URL in the block message[[URL]]We use keywords.

[[URL]]The keywords are automatically replaced with the actual URL that the user attempted to access.
In the preview, it will be displayed in the form "Blocked URL: [URL]".

4. Preview​

  1. Click the preview button
    • top right미리보기Click the button.
  2. Preview Check
    • You can preview the blocking screen that will be displayed to actual users.
    • Check how the configured image and message are displayed.
    • [[URL]]The section will be displayed in the preview as "Blocked URL: [URL]".

5. Save and Cancel​

  1. Save
    • Once all settings are complete, the bottom of the저장Click the button to apply the changes.
    • The save button is only enabled when there are modified contents.
  2. Cancel Edit
    • To revert to the state before modification, at the top of the수정 취소Click the button.
    • The cancel edit button is only activated when there are changes made.

Application Results​

After saving the settings, if the user is blocked from accessing the website due to conditional policies while using the work system, the configured blocking screen will be displayed.

Notes​

  • The lock screen is displayed only when blocked by a conditional policy.
  • The guidance screen due to system errors or technical issues isGuide Screen SettingsManage in the tab.
  • Images must use a URL that is accessible from the outside, and local file paths cannot be used.
