Screen Marking Settings
Screen marking is a security feature that displays user identification information on the browser screen in the form of a watermark, enhancing data leakage prevention and accountability tracking.
Overview
The screen marking feature allows you to configure the content and design of the watermark displayed on the screen when accessing the browser. The configured screen marking will only be displayed on the screen if screen marking is enabled in the conditional policy.

Preview Feature
On the right side of the settings screen,Integrated Preview AreaThis is provided:
- Real-time reflection: Reflect changes in the preview immediately upon any setting modification.
- Real Environment Simulation: Reproduction of a real browser environment with a Google search screen as the background
- Check Settings: You can check the screen marking effect that is the same as what the user will actually see.
Settings Items
Select Display Information ⓘ
**Selection Method:**Multiple Selection through Checkboxes
- Username: Displaying individual user names
- email address: Display user's email address
- Company Name: Display Company Name
Selection Rules:
- minimum selection: At least 1 must be selected
- Display Order: Username → Email Address → Company Name (fixed order)
- separator: Selected items are separated by a space.
Example of Display:
사용자명만: "김철수"
이메일주소만: "chulsoo@company.com"
회사명만: "소프트캠프"
사용자명 + 이메일주소: "김철수 chulsoo@company.com"
사용자명 + 회사명: "김철수 소프트캠프"

ⓘ Guide: Select the user identification information to be displayed on the screen marking. When multiple items are selected, they will be displayed separated by spaces, and longer text may be cut off on the screen.
Font Size Settings ⓘ
Setting Scope: 10px ~ 30px
Default value: 20px
**Adjustment Method:**Select from the dropdown menu
Effects by Font Size:
- Small size (10-15px): Minimize work disruption, low readability
- Medium size (16-24px): Balanced Visibility and Work Efficiency
- Large size (25-30px): High visibility, potential for work disruption
ⓘ Guide: Sets the size of the screen marking text. The font type is the system default font, and only the size can be adjusted. A larger size is more visible but may affect screen readability.
Angle Settings ⓘ
Setting Scope:-60 degrees to 90 degrees
**Default value:**45 degrees
**Adjustment Method:**Select from the dropdown menu
Characteristics by Angle:
- -45 degrees: Lower Left Diagonal
- 0 degrees: Horizontal Marking
- 45 degrees: Upward Diagonal (Most Common)
- 90 degrees: Vertical Marking
ⓘ Guide: Sets the tilt angle of the screen marking text. Positive values tilt clockwise, and 45 degrees is suitable for an upward diagonal display.
Setting Spacing ⓘ
Setting Scope: 100px ~ 500px
Default value: 300px
**Adjustment Method:**Slider Drag
Effects by Interval:
- Narrow Gap (100-200px): Dense watermark, strong security effect
- Appropriate spacing (250-350px): Balanced Security and Readability
- Wide spacing (400-500px): Rare watermark, minimal disruption to work
ⓘ Guide: Sets the spacing between screen marking texts. The larger the spacing, the less frequently the screen marking is displayed, and the smaller the spacing, the more densely it is arranged.
Transparency Settings ⓘ
Setting Scope: 10% ~ 100% (0.1 ~ 1.0)
Default value: 30% (0.3)
**Adjustment Method:**Slider Drag
Characteristics by Transparency:
- Low Transparency (10-30%): Subtle indication, minimal disruption to work
- Medium Transparency (40-60%): Appropriate visibility and work efficiency
- High Transparency (70-100%): Clear marking, strong security effect
ⓘ Guide: Adjusts the transparency of the screen marking. The lower the value, the more transparent it is, and the higher the value, the clearer it appears. Lower transparency can reduce work interruptions.
Applying and Managing Settings
Save Settings
- Adjusting SettingsAdjust each item to the desired value in the left panel.
- Preview Check: Check the actual screen effect in the right preview.
- Final Save: After completing all settings**[Application]**Button Click
Application Confirmation
Immediate application:
- Changes to settings are reflected in the system immediately upon saving.
- Immediately applied to new users
Reflecting Existing Users:
- Connected users: Reflect new settings upon page refresh
Precautions and Limitations
Text Length Limit
Long text problem:
- Text may exceed screen width when selecting all items.
- Especially for long email addresses or company names, there is a possibility of truncation.
Solution:
- Adjust text length by selecting only essential information
- Reduce font size to display all text
- Adjust the spacing to prevent text overlap.
Conditional Policy Linking
Conditions for activating screen marking:
- Screen marking in conditional policiesActivationDisplayed only when applicable
- When the policy is deactivated, screen marking will not be displayed regardless of the settings.
