- Category-based URL Management: Classify by directly adding the URL to the desired category.

It is also used when you need to directly specify sites that should be managed under a category different from the default classification, such as internal business systems.

Conditional Policy Integration
The category is in the conditional policy of the URL input field.TargetIt is used as a condition. Instead of specifying a specific URL one by one, if you set the target by category, the policy will be applied to all sites belonging to that category at once.
How to Set Web Category in Conditional Policies
- URL Input Field > Conditional Policymoves to.
- Add PolicyClick.
- Targetin the itemSelect a web categoryClick.
- Select the category to apply. (e.g., Games, Entertainment, Business, Malware Distribution Sites, etc.)

Unlike specifying the URL directly, when you set it to target a web category, the policy is automatically applied to all sites classified under that category. If an administrator changes the category of a specific domain in the category menu, it is immediately reflected in the conditional policy as well.
Policy Setting Strategy Example
Basic Block + Allow Work Category
- Policy A (Low Priority): Target - All sites accessed via the address bar / Enforcement Policy - Access Blocked
- Policy B (High Priority): Target - Web Category Business, Academic Information / Enforcement Policy - Access Allowed
It is configured to block non-work sites by default while selectively allowing only the categories necessary for work.
Differential Control by Category
- Game and Entertainment Blocking Policy: Target - Web Category Games, Entertainment / Conditions - Working Hours / Enforcement Policy - Access Blocked
- Security Threat Site Permanent Blocking Policy: Target - Web Category Malware Distribution Sites, Phishing Sites / Enforcement Policy - Access Blocked
