SHIELDGate Login Guide
SHIELDGate aims to provide secure services through user authentication and access control. This guide explains how to log in to SHIELDGate and how to troubleshoot authentication issues.
1. Login Procedure
1.1 Enter User ID
- Enter an email format ID on the login screen.
- After entering, click the [Next] button to proceed to the password entry or Microsoft authentication step.
1.2 Password Entry Method
- Click the 'Login' button after entering the password.
- If MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is set up, you need to proceed with the additional authentication process.
1.3 Password Reset Procedure on First Login

Enter temporary password → System requests password reset → Set new password → Automatic logout and re-login

Password requirements:
- At least 8 characters long
- Includes uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- It must not be the same as before.
1.4 Microsoft365 Authentication Methods
- Provides Microsoft365 SSO method according to administrator settings.
- Switch to the Microsoft login window when entering the ID.
- Enter the Microsoft365 account password and authenticate.
- Additional authentication is required if MFA is set up on the Microsoft account.
In addition to Microsoft account MFA, SHIELDGate's own MFA may also be used concurrently.
2. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a procedure that uses two or more authentication methods to enhance security. This allows for the safe protection of accounts even in risky situations such as password leaks. MFA consists of the following steps:
- Enter username and password
- Enter your username and password on the login page.
- Click the 'Login' button.
- Additional authentication step
- If the first authentication step is successful, a second authentication method will be requested. Additional authentication methods may include:
- EmailEnter the verification code sent to the registered email address.
- Authentication appEnter the one-time code generated by authentication apps such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
3. Troubleshooting Guide

| If you forgot your password | Click 'Reset Password' on the login screen and reset via email. |
| Authentication code not received | Check the spam folder and request again or contact the administrator. |
| Microsoft authentication failed | Contact Microsoft Support Center or Administrator |
| MFA authentication failed | Reset the authentication app or contact the administrator. |
