Event Receiver

This screen isMicrosoft 365 Dedicatedis. The menu is displayed only for customers using Microsoft 365.
In the Google Workspace environment, instead of an event receiverGoogle Drive Event ChannelIt serves the same role. It's not just the terminology that has changed; it is a separate screen, and the installation unit and operation method are different.

The event receiver menu is provided in two tabs due to the difference in event reception methods between OneDrive and SharePoint.

  • **OneDrive Tab:**Detects events when files are added, modified, or moved in OneDrive.
  • **SharePoint Tab:**Receive events (file creation, modification, etc.) occurring in each document library of SharePoint individually.

Each platform has a different event structure, so SHIELD DRM provides an independent event receiver integration method suitable for this. As a result, the tabs are also separated and organized on the admin page.

OneDrive Event Receiver​

  1. Check User List
  • User account and the email and URL of that account are displayed.

  1. Real-time Detection Settings
  • 실시간 감지When you activate the toggle**Automatically install an event receiver on the OneDrive of a new user when they are added.**does.
  • The automatic installation target is SHIELD DRM subscribers registered in the Security365 Management Center. It will not be installed for users who are not registered.
  • Note: If the owner has changed, it will not be installed automatically, so you need to install it directly from the list.
  1. Full Installation/Uninstallation
  • 전체 설치You can install the event receiver for all users displayed in the list by clicking the button.
  • 전체 삭제You can remove the event receiver for all users through the button.
  1. CSV Bulk Installation
  • CSV 일괄 설치You can upload a user list as a CSV file through the button to install event receivers in bulk.
  • CSV로 내보내기You can download the data of the current list as a CSV file through the button.

SharePoint Event Receiver​

  1. Check site list
  • The name and URL of the SharePoint site are displayed.
  • 연결You can check the connection status of each site in the column (normal channel, channel not linked, etc.).
  • 이벤트 리시버 설치 상태You can check the installation status in the column.
  • 마지막 확인 날짜You can check the date when the event receiver status was last checked in the column.
  1. Owner Verification Feature
  • 소유자 확인When you activate the toggle**Only sites among the owners of the SharePoint site that have accounts registered in the Security365 management center.**Install the event receiver.
  • Sites without a registered owner are excluded from the installation target.
  • Check both the site user owner and group owner, and if either is registered, install it.
  • It is not a feature that restricts the administrators who can execute the installation, but rather a feature that filters the target sites for installation.
  1. Classification of Sites by Region
  • (If Multi GEO is set up in Sharepoint) This feature allows you to manage sites registered in each region separately.
    • You can select each region (Korea, USA, Japan, etc.) to check whether the event receiver installation for the sites belonging to that region is in place.
  1. Real-time Detection Settings

Caution​

  • 실시간 감지**This is not a setting that detects file events, but a setting that automatically installs event receivers for new users and new sites.**File creation, modification, and movement events are always detected regardless of this setting if an event receiver is installed.
  • 실시간 감지If not used, administrators must directly install event receivers from the list for new users and new sites.
  • CSV 내보내기You can periodically check the event receiver status and back it up through the feature. (Under development)
  • With the SharePoint Multi-GEO feature, global organizations can easily manage sites.
