Home (Dashboard)

SHIELD DRM dashboard is a screen that allows monitoring the operational status of conditional policies and document status in real-time from the admin page. Each card and chart reflects real-time data and cumulative data, providing administrators with an intuitive view of the current security status of the system.

Google Workspace Environment Guide
The home menu is always displayed regardless of the cloud service in use, but**The current indicator and chart area is calculated based only on Microsoft 365.**If you only use Google Workspace, the metrics and charts area on the home screen will not be displayed. A dashboard exclusively for Google Workspace will be provided in the future.
The descriptions in this document are all based on the Microsoft 365 environment.

Home (Dashboard) Configuration​

Click on the Home menu in the SHIELD DRM admin page to access the dashboard screen.

Policy Operation Status Card​

Data refresh cycle: Pending documents, documents in application, retry documents: Real-time data (updated every 30 seconds)

  • Pending documents: The number of documents that are waiting and have not started conversion in the SHIELD DRM service.
  • Documents in Progress: The number of documents currently being converted in SHIELD DRM.
  • Retry Document: The number of documents waiting to retry due to a temporary error.
    • Detailed Items: SharePoint Checkout Error, MS Throttling Limit, Other Temporary Errors

Policy Processing Status Card​

Data refresh cycle: Policy exception documents, processing failure documents, completed documents: Cumulative data (updated every 30 seconds)

  • Policy Exception Document: The number of documents that have been exception handled in conditional policies.
  • Processing failure document: The number of documents that failed to convert.
  • Completed documents: The number of documents that have been converted.

Encryption Status Chart​

The number of documents successfully converted within the selected period is displayed in a pie chart, comparing three result types: DRM documents, MIP documents, and regular documents.

MS Throttling Status Card​

Visualizes the Microsoft Throttling status as a circular animation. It is real-time data and updates every 5 seconds.

Color and Status Definitions:

  • Green: Normal (All requests are being processed normally)
  • Yellow: Caution (Traffic auto-adjusting)
  • Red: Warning (MS Throttling Limit Control in Operation)

Status of Conditional Policy Application (Currently supports only Cloud Storage policies)​

You can visualize the application status of each policy with a bar graph to check the number of documents per policy.

Policy Type:

  • DRM → MIP Conversion
  • MIP → DRM conversion
  • Decryption of General Documents

Conversion Status by Storage​

Displays the number of completed converted documents for each storage type such as OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams as a bar graph.
