Operating System​

  • Windows Server 2022: If it is the English version, a request for the addition of the Korean pack is necessary.
  • Windows Security Update Required

Windows Server 2022 Important Settings (Required)​

Issues occurring only in Windows Server 2022(Not occurring in Windows Server 2019)

Symptoms:

  • Korean file name 5 characters (e.g:가나다라마바.docx) → Decontamination Normal Operation
  • Korean file name must be at least 6 characters (e.g:가나라마바사.docx) → Decontamination reconstruction failure

Cause: Activating the UTF-8 beta feature of Windows Server 2022

Solution(Required settings):

  1. Win + R → intl.cplInput
  2. Admin OptionsTab Click
  3. **Change System Locale (C)**Click
  4. **"Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support"**Check confirmation
    • If checked, must be unchecked
    • This option should not be enabled.
  5. check → System Reboot

Important: If you do not check this setting, the decontamination of Korean file names longer than 6 characters will fail!

  • E:\ Partition preparation needed
  • Request for Information Reply for CDR Installation License Issuance
    • Need information on the logical core of the CPU for the CDR construction server.
    • Need MAC information for CDR construction server
    • Command to check CPU logical cores:wmic cpu get NumberOfCores,NumberOfLogicalProcessors
      • (Need information on NumberOfLogicalProcessors)
