Registration procedure (required only once)​

Desktop environment

  1. SHIELD ID login → Enter ID/PW
  2. After logging in, a window will appear asking whether to register Passwordless authentication devices/information.
    • 설정or나중에 하기You can choose among __PH_0__.
      • Do it later
        • The ID / PW entry has been completed, so the authentication is successful at that time, but the same query window appears during the next SHIELD ID authentication.
        • 오늘 하루 보지 않기By checking this, you can prevent the window from appearing for the entire day.
  3. 설정When the button is clicked, automaticallyDefault browser of the user's PCThe next step will proceed as the __PH_0__ opens.
    • Authentication request after inserting Windows Hello (PIN or fingerprint) or security key.
    • ⚠️ Caution
      • Registration isIt is conducted in the Microsoft Edge browser.
      • When registering in the Chrome browser, it may be saved in Google Password Manager but cannot be used in Edge, which can cause inconvenience.
  4. After registration is complete __PH_0__**"Setup is complete."**Checking the message.
  5. From the next login,Passwordless authentication is applied by default.

Mobile environment

  1. SHIELD ID login → Enter ID/PW

How to handle registration failure​

  • 재등록: Proceeding with the re-registration process.
  • 나중에 하기The attempt is logged in normally, but a re-registration request is mandatory for the next login.

Authentication Procedure​

  1. SHIELD ID login → Enter your ID.
  2. The authentication request screen will switch to the automatically registered authentication device.
  3. Authentication is performed using registered devices (security keys / biometric information).
  4. Login will be completed.

Authentication Method Transition​

  • At the bottom of the Passwordless authentication screen다른 방법으로 로그인Clicking will switch to Password mode.
  • On the contrary, in the Password input screen,보안 키 또는 생체 인식으로 로그인Clicking will allow you to switch back to Passwordless authentication.

When authentication fails​

  • You need to retry or proceed with logging in using a different method.
