Personal Folder Automatic Deletion Exception Folder Settings

In the personal vault designated for automatic deletion by the administrator, files that have passed the set period are automatically deleted. Folders that need to be preserved are excluded from deletion by turning off automatic deletion in the details slide. Automatic deletion only applies to secure storage personal vaults.

1. Check Automatic Deletion Targets

You can check with the following display when entering the automatically deleted target personal mailbox.

1	Guide under the folder name	"{N} days later, all files in the storage will be automatically deleted. You can disable automatic deletion in the detailed slide of the top-level folder in the storage." Not displayed in folders where automatic deletion is turned off.
2	Storage period next to usage capacity	Display the criteria and processing method in the format "{Create/Modify} after {N} days {Delete/Permanently Delete}" at the top level of the personal folder. If not applicable, "No retention period limit."
3	Trash Bin Clock Icon of the Path	Always displayed next to the storage name. Subfolders are only displayed when automatic deletion is applied.
4	Icon next to the storage name in the personal list	Automatic deletion target storage. Hovering over it shows "This storage has an automatic deletion cycle set."

The deletion criteria (creation date or modification date), frequency (days), and processing method (move to trash or permanent deletion) are determined by the administrator. If the method is to move to trash, the guidance icon next to the used capacity will display "{Creation/Modification} will be deleted and moved to trash after {N} days." and it can be restored from the "Trash" within 30 days.

2. Exception Specification Method

1. It goes into the automatically deleted target personal mailbox.
2. Select the top-level folder to preserve (the first-level folder directly below personal storage).
3. Turn off the [Auto Delete] toggle on the detailed information slide.

• If the toggle is on, it is subject to automatic deletion; if off, it is an exception. Hovering over the information icon next to the toggle will display "Data in the folder will be automatically deleted at the set interval. If disabled, data in that folder will not be automatically deleted."
• When you turn off the toggle, a notification will appear saying "Automatic deletion has been disabled." When you turn it back on, a notification will appear saying "Automatic deletion has been enabled."
• Folders with toggles turned off and all their subfolders and files are excluded from automatic deletion.
• The history of enabling and disabling is recorded in the [Activity History] as "Automatic Deletion Exception Set" / "Automatic Deletion Exception Released".
• If the configuration fails, "Automatic deletion exception configuration failed" will be displayed. Please try again later.

3. Set only at the top-level folder unit

• Exceptions can only be specified at the top-level folder. Toggles are not displayed in subfolders.
• When selecting a subfolder that is subject to automatic deletion, the details will display "This folder will be automatically deleted after {N} days. The automatic deletion settings can be changed in the top-level folder."
• Files placed directly at the top level of the personal folder cannot be designated as exceptions. Please move the files to be preserved into the exception folder.

4. Exception Folder Operation

Restore from Recycle Bin after deleting the exception folder	The exception specification has been initialized and has become a candidate for automatic deletion again.
Exception Folder Move	Exception specification has been initialized. It will not be restored even if moved back to the original position.
Exception Folder Copy	The copy is created with exceptions lifted.
Restoring deleted files from the recycle bin	If it still meets the deletion cycle conditions, it will be deleted again during the next automatic deletion (the next day).
The administrator removes the individual mailbox from the automatic deletion target.	All user-defined exception settings have been reset.
