Add Group Policy

[Policy] > [Add Group Policy]

SHIELDEX File includes user/organization-specific policies in addition to the basic harmlessness policy.Specify a separate policyProvides 'Group Policy' features that can be used.
This group policy isApplied prior to the basic declassification policyIt helps to operate policies in detail according to specific job characteristics or exceptional situations.

⚠️ Group policy setting permissions are granted to [Administrator Type - Channel Administrator], and
Administrator permission settings can be configured in [Administrator Settings] > [Account and Permission Management].

▶ What is Group Policy?

  • Group Policy has the same configuration items as the 'Default Deactivation Policy' (Common, Exceptions, MS Office, PDF, Hancom Office, HTML), and the configured Group Policy isPriority over basic policyIt will be applied.

1. Creating a Group Policy

▷ Step 1: Create Group Policy Name

  • In the left menu, [Policy] >+ 그룹 정책 추가Button Click
  • Enter the group policy name in the input box (e.g.:외부협력자용, 설계팀_정책)
    → A new group policy will be created when the Enter key is pressed.

2. Configuring Group Policy Settings

▷ Step 2: Configuring Policy Items

  • Clicking on the created group policy will display the same item tabs as the default harmlessness policy:
    • Common, Exception, MS Office, PDF, Hancom Office, HTML
  • Check and modify the security policy items for each tab, and enter the policy values.

The configurable items are the same as the [default decontamination policy]. (For detailed items, refer to the guide for each policy setting tab.)
⚠️ Items that are not configured will operate according to the settings of the [Default Mitigation Policy].

▷ Step 3: Set Policy

  • by itemleft checkboxClick to select the policy to apply to the group and set the value.

The selected policy will be applied to the group.Unselected items will be subject to the default decontamination policy.

  • Click the top [Save Policy] button
    • When modifying a policy, it is possible to enter the reason for the policy change, and you can check the policy change history and restore it in the [Policy] > [Policy Change History] menu.
  • In the "Changes will be made with the currently set policy" warning window변경It will be applied when clicked.

3. Adding and Managing Policy Subjects

▷ Step 4: Add Policy Participants

  • In the right panel [Policy Target List]+ 정책 대상 추가Click
  • Set the following information in the popup window:
    • Select Target Type: User / Group
    • Eligible SubjectsSelect from the list
    • Select with the checkbox and click [Add]

→ The subject is registered in the policy, and the corresponding user/group will have**Group policies take precedence over basic policies.**It works.

▷ Step 5: Set Policy Expiration Date

  • [Policy Target List] My정책 만료일Column설정Button Click
  • in a popup windowExpiration Date Specification CheckAfter date range input
  • [Apply] Click the button to save

The policy will no longer be applicable after the specified expiration date.


4. Policy and Target Deletion

▷ Step 6: Delete Policy Subject

  • [Policy Target List] On the right side of each row in the table삭제(X)Button Click
  • The user or group will no longer be affected by the policy.

▷ Step 7: Delete Group Policy

  • next to the group policy to be removed from the left policy listXButton Click
  • After confirming "Do you want to remove the group policy?" in the popup window제거Click

Group policies will be completely deleted, and all related settings and target information will also be removed.


Precautions

  • After setting the policy, be sure to check the actual application targets and review the policy change history.
  • When the target is deleted, the corresponding group policy will beNo longer applicable.
